Meet Kate
Creativity was a part of everyday life in our household growing up on the East Coast. With an accomplished oil painter father and a mother who dedicated her life to teaching art, I couldn’t help but be influenced by the handcrafted arts that surrounded me.
One of my fondest memories is watching my father trade his paintings for beautiful jewelry to surprise my mother. Seeing the joy that those carefully chosen pieces brought her left a lasting impression on me—I realized how jewelry could celebrate love in the most tangible form.
In my late teens, I began exhibiting my work in the same galleries where my father once displayed his paintings, forging a connection with him while slowly laying the building blocks of my own legacy.
My journey eventually brought me to San Francisco, where I studied metalsmithing at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts. From there, I immersed myself in the art of goldsmithing, training under the master goldsmiths of Pavé Fine Jewelry in Oakland, CA. Over the next eight years, I honed my craft, learning the intricacies of transforming precious metals and gems into pieces that embody elegance, sentiment, and lasting beauty.
Today, as a seasoned goldsmith and jewelry artist, I find immense joy in creating pieces that resonate with others. Each design is crafted with the intention to empower, uplift, and connect—helping the wearer feel confident and aligned with their own sense of self. Through my art, I strive to honor my father's legacy by enriching lives with handmade treasures that go beyond the day-to-day to become cherished symbols of life's most precious moments.
